July 5th Program
July 5th, 2026 Conference Program Overview
The July 5, 2026, program marks a historic milestone in the evolution of the Technological Advances in Science, Medicine, and Engineering (TASME) Conference as the organization celebrates thirty years of fostering research, scholarship, professional development, and community engagement. More than a commemorative event, this special program serves as a reflection on the organization’s accomplishments over the past three decades and a celebration of its vision for the future.
Throughout the day, participants will hear from distinguished guest speakers, community leaders, and professionals whose perspectives reflect TASME’s growing commitment to building meaningful connections among academia, industry, healthcare, business, and the broader community. For the first time in the conference’s history, a significant number of community and industry leaders have been invited to share their insights.
The program also highlights the importance of cultivating younger leadership and ensuring a smooth transition to the next generation of scholars, professionals, and community advocates who will guide TASME into its next chapter.
An important feature of the celebration is the TASME 2026 Awards Ceremony, which honors individuals whose exceptional service, leadership, mentorship, and dedication have contributed to the growth and success of the organization. These recognitions celebrate the collective efforts of those who helped transform TASME from its modest beginnings into an international forum for research and professional exchange.
A highlight of the day will be the official launch of Dr. Jeya Thayaparan’s book, Reframing Dementia Care: Person-Centered Compassionate Care Beyond Prescriptions. The book embodies many of the values that define TASME’s future direction, innovation, collaboration, compassion, and service to the community. Its launch serves as a fitting tribute to Dr. Thayaparan’s leadership and her commitment to bridging research, professional practice, and community impact.
As TASME commemorates its 30th anniversary, the July 5 program celebrates not only the achievements of the past but also the promise of the future.
